Topic of the Day: The Power of Sincere Repentance

Qur'aan Verse of the Day

'Arabic Text'

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلتَّوَّٰبِينَ وَيُحِبُّ ٱلْمُتَطَهِّرِينَ

'Transliteration'

Inna Allaaha yuhibbut-tawwaabeena wa yuhibbul-mutatwahhireen

'English Translation'

"Indeed, Allaah loves those who repent and those who purify themselves."

— (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:222)

Hadith of the Day

The Prophet ﷺ said:

"Every son of Aadam sins, and the best of those who sin are those who repent."

— (Sunan At-Tirmidhi 2499, Ibn Maajah 4251)

Reflection

No one is perfect; we all make mistakes.

But Allaah’s mercy is vast, and He loves those who turn to Him in sincere repentance.

True repentance (Tawbah) involves feeling regret, seeking forgiveness, and making a sincere effort not to return to the sin.

Every moment is an opportunity to reconnect with Allaah and purify the soul.

Prayer Point of the Day

'Arabic Text'

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذُنُوبِي وَتُبْ عَلَيَّ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ

'Transliteration'

Allaahumma ighfir li dhunoobi wa tub ‘alayya innaka Antat-Tawwaabur-Raheem

'English Translation'

"O Allaah, forgive my sins and accept my repentance, for You are the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful." (Sunan Abu Dawood 1516)

Supplication of the Day

O Allaah, cleanse my heart from sins, grant me steadfastness upon righteousness, and make me among those whom You love for their repentance.
